Rocky Ballerina, self appointed Peace Avenger Girl, bravely makes a new friend and saves the day, with help from a schoolhouse full of new friends.  Even the Mean Mayor’s raised mean children melt.  Mean John and Mean Margaret join the peaceful community, unable to resist people-loving fun.  Who knows?  Off the page, maybe the children teach the hard-headed and closed-hearted adults. 

Adult therapy painted at Lake Miramichi, Evart, Michigan, on a little slice of real-life paradise.  One day, I saw a child play, and I wished that joy for every single child on earth.  Rocky Ballerina was born, and she’s got a least one friend yet to appear, sister ballerina, Lulu Abigail La Fontaine, maybe more!

I love to take photographs

Growing up, I wanted to be an artist.  I decided one becomes an artist when one is paid and makes a living as an artist, which is a pretty high bar to set.  I had no idea how to become an artist, or what kind of artist to become.  I am still figuring it out, trying.  

Art Therapy Diary 

I’ve needed to find my own needed healing therapy.  Sketches I drew at Lake Miramichi, in Evart, Michigan became organically an art therapy diary in Bay City, Michigan. After I was de-classroomed  again, something like exactly seven years TO THE DAY! after the first time.  My nemesis and his hench people would not let me be.  To deal with the insanity surrounding me,  I sometime push and drag myself to the art table, where I draw and paint my psychological interior.  Which is probably not so different a move from other artists.

Political commentary may evolve.  If I find a way to survive, I may return to school, art school!   Maybe become reborn as a political cartoonist.  Maybe.  Maybe not.  In the meantime, Dog Bloom, for people of earth, by a person of earth, who loves dogs and flowers.  Improvising.
